PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Wash soiled dishes, glassware and kitchen equipment. Assist in the cleaning and sanitary upkeep of the Club’s kitchens.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Wash soiled dishes, glassware and kitchen equipment, responding to the needs of the front of house and kitchen staffs in a timely fashion.
Dispose of garbage and recycling in the appropriate receptacles. Maintain the cleanliness of the containers.
Sweep and mop kitchen floors and walk-in refrigeration on a regular schedule established by the Executive Chef.
Change dish machine water as necessary to ensure cleanliness of tableware.
Organize and properly store plates, silverware and glassware in their appropriate areas.
Assist in the storage, organization and rotation of products from food deliveries.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work station at all times.
Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment.
Maintain kitchen equipment in good working order. Report any problems to your immediate supervisor. Take corrective action, as necessary.
Assist in the preparation of banquet and a la carte food, as directed by your immediate supervisor.
Assist in the preparation of cold salads and platters for banquets and a la carte, as directed by your immediate supervisor.
Ensure all refrigeration is locked and food products properly secured at the closing of the kitchen.
Maintain a flexible work schedule to respond to fluctuations in business levels.
Report to work on time and prepared for your shift.
Work your schedule as posted. Do not punch in or out early or late without permission from your immediate supervisor.
Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with front of house and kitchen staffs, and co-workers.
Perform other tasks or duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor.
