PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The BCC Bartenders are to exceed guests expectations by serving quality food and beverage products efficiently, courteously, and correctly.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Stocks all liquor as it arrives.
- Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available.
- Stocks all glasses and checks that they are clean.
- Requests additional supplies as necessary.
- Follows set-up procedures.
- Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks.
- Greets guests.
- Mixes, prepares and serves drinks according to the recipes approved by the Beverage Manager.
- Collects checks/payment for drinks served.
- Reports complaints to a manager as soon as they occur.
- Maintains and cleans equipment.
- Maintains the proper storage and cleanliness standards for the wine cellar or other holding area(s).
- Maintains records of liquors, beers, wine, tobacco and sundries to ensure par stock is maintained at all times.
- Cleans and locks up according to prescribed procedures.
- Performs liquor inventory at the end of every month or as deemed necessary by the manager.
- Ensure that all preparation and closing duties are performed according to the published checklist and company standards.
- Stay current with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure the POS system is operational and accurate at all times.
- Report on time and in proper uniform.
- Balance cash at end of shift/day.
- Adhere to ABC regulations regarding service and handling of alcohol.
- Assist in maintaining an attractive and orderly clubhouse.
- Ensure proper stocking and posted side work duties.
- Positively promote the club throughout the community and while at work.
- Attend to guest requests as well as complaints professionally.
- Ensure each guest receives consistent service and products.
- Ensure all posted safety procedures are adhered to.
- Will be required to work on a shift basis, including weekends, nights and holidays.
- Must have a solid understanding of the golf club environment.
- Background in Food & Beverage.
